The "Golden Rules" of installation

Never use a short 90° knuckle bend, except directly behind the inlet valve !
Here it is a „must have“, since it prevents long objects, like pencils from being sucked in. This is the best technique to guarantee the maximal suction power of your BVC central vacuum cleaner!

At all other positions where bends are necessary, install only 45° bends or long 90° bends!

If you have to install a socket at a level which is deeper than the pipe system, this inlet valve must be installed directly at the descending pipe – see sketch; (this may be the case if the pipes run in the ground floor and you want to connect a soccet in the basement)

If pipes are put directly into concrete, you should protect the low-voltage wire in a conduit
|

If pipes are put into cast plaster floor, its thickness above the pipes must have at least 4,5-5 cm
|

We recommend to install one inlet valve near the garage door - thus the car can be vacuumed, too!

| Make sure the central vacuum cleaner is protected with the right fuses! |
| |
For the waste air pipe behind the muffler take a diameter of 100mm !
This is important to avoid heat accumulation, which would reduce the suction power or even damage the central vacuum cleaner after a while.

| Have the coal brushes of the motor checked by an expert after approx. 250 hours of motor performance! They should be renewed in time to guarantee the maximum durability of the motor! |

We recommend to put a time switch in front of the electric outlet of the BVC unit. Thus you can switch off the stand-by mode of the motor at night, to avoid unnecessary electricity consumption.
